Master Lock Keyed Alike Padlocks with BumpStop Technology

Introducing the BumpStop Technology - Lock bumping, a seemingly simple technique used to break into locked doors and padlocks, poses a significant threat to personal property security. Most locks currently in use are highly susceptible to bumping, making them vulnerable. However, with the innovative BumpStop Advanced Cylinder Technology, this threat is now mitigated. This technology utilizes a patented design featuring a unique reverse rake tapered driver pin, high-performance springs, and precision-engineered cylinder chambers. By preventing force transfer from the bump key to the pins during a bump attempt, the cylinder rotation is blocked, thus keeping the lock secure.

This package includes two high-security hasps and two Pro Series padlocks with hidden shackles, all keyed alike for convenience, along with four keys. Designed for use on vans, trucks, gates, and vending machines, this sturdy shrouded hasp/lock combination offers maximum protection. For those ordering multiple 2-packs, rest assured that they will be automatically keyed alike, ensuring ease of use.

It is important to note that if two 2-packs are ordered separately, they will not necessarily be keyed the same. To guarantee receiving two 2-packs keyed identically, the 4-pack must be ordered instead.

Key features of the padlocks include a high-security 6-pin hardened die-cast zinc body that is durable and corrosion-resistant. The fully shielded hardened steel shackle is "Bolt Cutter Tough," providing resistance to cutting and prying attempts. The lock also features a removable cylinder for easy replacement or re-pinning. Detailed lock dimensions are as follows: A) 3/8" (10mm), B) 19/32" (15mm), C) 1-23/32" (44mm), Width 2-7/8" (73mm).

The hasp is constructed from solid steel and powder-coated for added durability. Installation is straightforward using the hasp as a mounting template, with a recommended 1/4" gap for most applications. Please note that this hasp works exclusively with the Master Lock model 6271 and does not include mounting hardware. Each unit requires six 3/8" carriage bolts (length determined by application), along with washers and nuts for secure fastening.
